Elisabeth got hooked on watercolor painting in the fall of 2008 when she took her first adult education class from Betsy Jacaruso.
She continues to study with Betsy and partake of the comrade of painting with others. She enjoys the challenge of adding little
touches of whimsy to her paintings for others to find. In January 2008 with the death of her mother, she marked the end of 44 years of combined elder care giving, teaching, and parenting 4 beautiful children by embarking on her own thing. A Red Hook native, Elisabeth graduated from SUNY @ Albany, the College of New Paltz, and a year long introduction to Waldorf Education @ Sunbridge College. Aside from watercolor painting,Elisabeth can finally connect with her basket of ideas for children's books. Her vision of illustrating her own manuscripts and creating works of art that draw child and adult alike is the carrot after which she clamors. |
