Donna Rutlin is a resident of Millbrook, New York. After her retirement in 2006, she has been traveling extensively and pursuing her lifelong interest in painting. She currently studies watercolors at the Betsy Jacaruso Studio and Gallery in Red Hook, NY. She has also studied at the Louvre and Musee Carnavalet in Paris, the Barrett Art Center in Poughkeepsie, NY and at the New York Botanical Garden, where she received a certificate in nature illustration. She is a member of Cross River Artists in Red Hook, NY. The inspiration for her work comes from her travels and from nature.
